Project: Chiropractic Wales - Adjusting Landscapes
For this project with Chiropractic Wales, the challenge was to create a unique and visually calming series of A1 prints that would enhance a treatment room environment. The concept was to subtly merge the art and science of chiropractic care with the natural beauty of the local Swansea area.
The result is a triptych of illustrations that reimagines chiropractic hand positions as the 'adjusting' force on the iconic landscapes of the Gower Peninsula. To ensure authenticity, I took original aerial photographs from a single-engine plane flying out of Swansea Airport, which served as the primary reference for the composition and topography.
The final palette was intentionally limited to a serene combination of teals, sand, and off-white, echoing the coastal environment and creating a sense of calm and well-being. The client was delighted with the outcome, and the prints now provide a unique and thoughtful visual experience for patients in the treatment room.
